Y-Chromo sent me a message to update the blog. It was on my to-do list for this week. Really.
I'm writing.
Well, actually, I'm editing, but I excited about the book again. I love this book. I used the time last week while X-Chromo was in production week for THE SOUND OF MUSIC to indulge in serious editing. The end is in sight. My Crit partners aren't going to be real happy, but my agent assures me that if I must, I must.
Mostly, tho', I want to go back to the beginning and fix all the things I now know need fixing.
My more . . . organized . . . writing friends say that if I actually plotted, I wouldn't have this issue. But I've tried plotting every which way to tomorrow and back again, and it doesn't work for me. I know some authors who plot on computer spreadsheets. Well, I work with spreadsheets every day. They are delightful tools. For Math-y stuff. But not for writing.
So that's my post for this month. Write on!
Oh, and check out my friend Kris's blog. Such a thrilling time for her and her family
