Between three snow days backing up onto mid-winter break, Valentine's Day, my birthday, and the miserable weather, I have been hiding. Unfortunately, it's time to come out from under my rock.
I had a great Valentine's Day. TV Stevie bought wonderful truffles for me. Yum.
I had an even better birthday. TV Stevie outdid himself this year. Novels, a coffee table book on my favorite painter, bottles of wine, a DVD, other stuff, and a great dinner at a local restaurant. Yum.
I didn't get much writing done while the Chromos were home. X-Chromo is an ER fanatic, so she sets her alarm to get up to watch back-to-back episodes on a cable network. And the phone rings constantly. Teenageritis or something. Y-Chromo is in his school play (GREASE) and needed to learn to play guitar for the part. I showed him a couple of chords . . . and he's off to the races. He's driving us all crazy. He did work four days of the eight he was off, so that helped. Except I had to pick him up every night.
But they finally went back to school on Monday. Hurrah!

I don't know what it is about this dreary part of winter, but it's always hard to keep up productivity... I've been very slack on the writing front as well. And I don't even have the excuse of kids home on break... :-(
However, your gifts sound divine. Wine and chocolate truffles, you can't go wrong that. LOL.
